The Bridgetown International Arts Festival is a celebration of performing and visual arts featuring artists from all over the world. It takes place in Barbados annually in March. Since it was established in 2020, applications have been received from Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, Grenada, Jamaica, Dominica, St. Vincent, New York, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Cameroon, Australia, Swaziland, Sweden, Tanzania. Switzerland, Zimbabwe and Germany.
The Bridgetown International Arts Festival provides an avenue for freedom of artistic expression, as well as opportunities for economic development for artists. It is also a space for international collaboration and creativity. Participation in the festival is by Open Call and so far several artistes from across the world have applied.
We invite independent producers to mount their performing arts and entertainment events within the festival period of March, and receive support for some production costs. Contact us for more details.
